Raffy Family & Bike Hotel

Very good 3 star family hotel. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. There is a nice pool with a little garden where the kids can play. Also indoor there is a kids playroom with animators, a leisure room with TV, computer, couches, table, books... where you can spent time together with other visitors, while the kids are playing. Also there is a sort of veranda with football table, and an outside relax area. Furthermore, there is a bar, lounge at the reception and a big sun terrace with a beautiful view (sometimes, on this terrace there is a barbecue with music). For the kids there are a lot of activities, not only inside the hotel, but also small excursions. The rooms themselves are modernised (air conditioning, bigger TV, new paint, Wi-Fi...), and have a great balcony. I made multiple new friends in the past in this hotel (Italians and Belgians), and hope to go back as soon as possible. This is the most cozy/lively hotel I know (I visited already multiple 3 and 4 star hotels, but this hotel has the most 'familial' ambiance, with a lot of things to do, especially if you compare it with most of the other 3 star hotels).

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Raffy as a family of four. The service and cuisine were outstanding, the rooms spacious and clean. The playroom's furnishings are a bit old and more suitable for small children. In the afternoon there was a children's program and snacks. Our children didn't use the former because they had the pool to themselves in the low season and also didn't understand Italian. In September, after the holidays are over in most countries, there always felt like there was enough space in the hotel and very attentive staff. Because we booked very spontaneously, the price and performance ratio was very good thanks to the corresponding discounts.

Hotel a little outside the center of Diano Marina, nice with spacious rooms, excellent cleanliness of the rooms and common areas, the garden of the mini club not clean and not looked after. The pride of the structure is the impeccable swimming pool always looked after by the excellent lifeguard Emanuele. Sara and Elena are very good and professional at the reception, ready and available for any request. The quality of the food was disappointing despite an excellent dining room staff led by the excellent Arber. Disappointing and improvised mini club, with few activities and not very engaging. Recommended only in bred and breakfast formula.

Dated and poorly maintained hotel. In a week I had to have the minibar replaced because it was broken, the shower faucet, the sink cap because it didn't let the water flow. Rude and annoyed staff, zero smiles or kindness. I asked to be taken to hospital after my son fell and they told me there was no driver. Endless waits at the table to be served even though the menu is chosen in the morning. Huge swimming pool with little space on the sides, dangerous for children. Never again.

Family hotel that struggles to reach 3 stars. Rooms with simple but functional recent furniture, window frames with a single glass from the 70s, with slightly peeling paint, wooden shutters of the same age devoured by the sun and bad weather, no bottle warmer or similar in the room, malfunctioning fridge (reported to reception ). Nice swimming pool but with very little space at the edges and without a shallow area for small children, always accessible even in the evening when there is no lifeguard. You have to pass by it to get to the little neglected garden, with some worn plastic toys half abandoned in a corner all together. Entertainment in the hands of 2 girls who did what they could with 15 children from 3 to 8 years old: solution: fast pop music (the usual 3 songs more suitable for 14 year olds than for small children) with the younger children falling down and getting bumped unleashed by the larger ones. Mediocre cuisine always garlic and onion everywhere. Location very close to the sea (obviously only paid establishment(s)) but far from the town (15 minute walk along the street, there is no seafront). Cold welcome typical of Ligurian clichés: and when you arrive at the post office they are more cheerful and smiling. Free bike available but with non-working lights and rusty chain.
